haunting, but peaceful and perfect for this weather. if this were a movie, i would have just had a monumental and impactful death in my life, and i can't leave my bed. which is in a high-celeing'd room with heavy drapes and a sliver of light shining through, but i have seen the daylight in days because i can't get out of bed due to my devastation. every now and then, a housekeeper/nurse will come to check on me and urge me to eat, i will respond by just turning over and changing positions.
She will leave dejected and quietly close the two-story, thin door.
